About FLOWERS BY ANN, PERSONALLY YOURS
When old enough to walk, I would pick pansies and take them to all my adopted grandma's in the neighbourhood. I still love their fragrance and beautiful colours. My Mom was an avid gardener and I learned much from her about plants, picking and designing flowers in vases, and how to care for them.
I attended Flowers Canada in Guelph, On. I was a Director of Flowers Canada for Ontario and for all florists Coast to Coast. Canada Blooms an exciting floral event in Ontario invited me on several occasions to be on stage as a presenter of floral design and care, and I have been invited by local large wholesalers, the Hamilton Floral Association, special events and local horticultural, church & community groups to present floral designs and care.
I was selected from florists across Canada to work at Canada's Governor General Adrienne Clarkson's, One Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Ontario. The work involved floral designs and plant care for the G.G., Prime Minister Jean Chrétien and Heads of State. My business has been serving our community for all their occasions in life as well as "just because" for 44 years! My floral business has been nominated every year as one of the top florists in Norfolk County.
Clients enjoy the friendly, professional advice shared when they place their floral order. Our service is efficient with quick friendly delivery services. I am the team! Occasionally, I will have a very special young lady in to help get me reorganized and she is terrific.
I love to participate in our community at our shop. I donate florals to Church, School and Fundraising Community events.
